Dr Dana Lassri

Clinical psychologist, education interventions, teacher support

Dana Lassri, Phd is a clinical psychologist and an Assistant Professor at the Paul Baerwald School of Social Work and Social Welfare  at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research involves developing intervention programmes for children and young people with a special emphasis on mentalization, targeting psychological distress in schools and classrooms.

Dana teaches mentalization approaches in schools and trains school staff in speaking with adolescents about psychological distress. She as taught over 1500 education professionals approaches aimed at promoting a more reflective environment surrounding the child.

Dana completed a postdoctoral fellowship under the supervision of Professor Peter Fonagy at UCL and at the Anna Freud Centre.
