Dr Nicolas Lorenzini

Researcher in mentalization and psychometrics

Nicolas Lorenzini, PhD. is a clinical psychologist, lecturer at the International Psychoanalytic University in Berlin and Research Fellow at UCL. His research focuses on psychometrics and measurements in mental health and education. Founder and Vicepresident of the Association for the Study and Development of Mentalizing (AIEDEM) and Editor of their journal. Co-opted member of the Executive Committee of the International Attachment Network in the United Kingdom (IAN-UK).

Nicolas advises education and psychology professionals on the best tools for measuring and assessing the effectiveness of interventions.

Nicolas has attained an MSc in Psychoanalysis and PhD in Psychology from University College London (UCL). He is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Attachment Network and Director of their online training in English, Spanish and Mandarin. Guest Speaker in several counties including the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Chile, Mexico, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.
