Dr Maria Vinograd

Curriculum designer, educational strategist

Maria Vinograd, PhD is a Teaching Fellow at Imperial College London. Her role focuses on supporting staff and students through curriculum transformation towards active learning, and more recently online learning. For fifteen years, Maria has led projects in developing learning strategies and curriculum design for early years, school students, undergraduates and postgraduates. Maria works closely supporting a team of forty teachers delivering lessons online. She also designs interactive teaching methods, approaches, workshops and events aimed at facilitating creative and exciting learning. Her research interests lie in the fields of sustainability, circular economy and environmental risk, as well as assessing learning competencies under the education for sustainable development framework.

Maria designs and implements curriculum transformation targeted towards active and online learning.

Maria holds a PhD in Risk and Society from King’s College London, an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, and a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge, Queens’ College.
