Paul Bell
Child and adolescent psychotherapist advising schools
Paul Bell BA MSc MProf MACP is a Highly Specialist Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, with 12 years of experience working in clinical mental health settings in the NHS, charity sector and private practice. Since qualifying Paul has developed specialist skills in therapeutic work with adolescents and has managed and developed in-house mental health services for secondary schools across London.
Paul is based in Edinburgh where he provides training, supervision and consultancy for local authorities and education institutions.
Paul completed his MSc in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology at UCL in 2008 and qualified as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist following a 4-year full time clinical training at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in 2016. Paul has held the post of Visiting Lecturer at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Essex, where he has taught on MA level child development courses and has provided clinical supervision for MA and doctoral students.
